Refund Policy
Last updated: Aug 19, 2026
This policy covers both ways a Project's subscription can be activated on HelpZeno: a recurring Stripe subscription, or a one-time activation key.
1. Digital delivery
HelpZeno is delivered digitally. There is no physical shipping: after Stripe confirms checkout, or after an activation key is redeemed, the Project is activated and the API key is shown in the Project Portal and sent by email. If access is not delivered within a few minutes, contact us at info@helpzeno.com.
2. Stripe subscriptions
Subscriptions bill in advance for each period (monthly, unless otherwise noted on the pricing page). You can cancel at any time from the Project's portal ("Manage billing"); cancelling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current period — your plan stays active until the period you already paid for ends.
3. Refund requests
If you believe you were charged in error, or you cancel shortly after a renewal and haven't meaningfully used the plan, contact us at info@helpzeno.com within 14 days of the charge. We review refund requests case by case and issue approved refunds back to the original Stripe payment method.
4. Activation keys
Activation keys are typically sold outside of Stripe (for example by a reseller or through a manual agreement) and are single-use. Because a key immediately grants the associated plan and duration, refunds for unredeemed keys should be requested from whoever issued the key; redeemed keys are refundable only under the same case-by-case terms as Section 2, at our discretion.
5. Downgrades and plan changes
Moving to a lower-priced plan takes effect immediately; we do not prorate or refund the difference for the remainder of the current billing period.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — we're able to resolve most billing issues faster directly, and an open chargeback may result in the Project being suspended while it's investigated.
